What is The Wrestling Tourney On-Line?
The Wrestling Tourney On-Line is a website that allows participating schools in your wrestling tournament to easily enter their rosters On-Line. No need for faxes or mail-in entries. This will save the tournament manager hours of data entry. You will now be able to have rosters with accurate spellings and records available before weigh-in or your seeding meeting. The Wrestling Tourney On-Line can also be used at an open tournament check-in for data entry from multiple computers. The tournament manager can create data files that will easily import into The Wrestling Tourney.
How do they access the entry form?
The website The Wrestling Tourney On-Line can be accessed from any computer that is capable of accessing the internet. The site is maintained by Preferred Educational Software and is free for registered users of The Wrestling Tourney.
How does it work?
As a tournament manager, you enter team names and coaches' names for each participating school. The tournament manager will send coaches a USERID and PASSWORD that will enable them to access the entry form for your tournament.
How secure is the website?
Each school's line-up can only be accessed with an appropriate USERID and PASSWORD.
What if a coach forgets their USERID or PASSWORD?
They can request their tournament manager to send them a new password.
Can The Wrestling Tourney On-Line be used for both TEAM and OPEN tournaments?
The current 7.0 version can only be used with tournaments created with an OPEN format. The only difference between a TEAM format and an OPEN format is the manner in which wrestlers are entered. With an OPEN format wrestlers are entered by weight class and with a TEAM format wrestlers are entered by team. A common misconception is that an OPEN format is not capable of team scoring.
